About Drach Advisors

Robert B. Drach founded Drach Advisors in 2006 as an outlet for his research into value oriented equity investing strategies. 

His own work was built on over 30 years of research and applications by Robert F. Drach, featured commentator on PBS’s Nightly Business Report, founding author of the weekly Drach Market Research newsletter and co-author of the High-Return Low-Risk Investment book series.

Drach Advisors was initially founded to provide consulting services to investment advisors and hedge funds.  In the first few years, a natural demand developed for direct account management services among the investing public, which is now our core focus.

Drach Advisors now manages separate accounts for a wide variety of clients, from individuals and families to non-profits and corporations. While we subscribe to a uniform philosophy in our investments, our structure allows for independent and personally tailored portfolios for each client.

About Robert B. Drach, CFA

Robert is a CFA charterholder and has earned a Master’s of Science in Finance and bachelor’s degree in physics from the University of Florida. Soon after completing his graduate degree, Mr. Drach founded Drach Advisors. 

Robert currently serves as an Assistant Professor at Maine Maritime Academy’s Loeb-Sullivan School of International Business & Logistics. Throughout his career, he has committed himself to empowering the public with the knowledge they need to invest with independence and success. Robert has been a featured speaker at the National Conference for the American Association of Individual Investors (AAII) and a guest speaker at AAII chapters across the country. He has also been a source for multiple media outlets covering the market, including the Wall Street Journal and US. News.

From 2013-2025, Robert authored the Drach Market Research weekly newsletter, and he continues to publish the newsletter’s models at drachresearch.com.
